It’s all about making the right connection.

Oil & Gas students are getting hands-on experience with pipe threading, learning how to properly prepare and thread pipe while building the skills, precision and confidence they’ll take into the industry.

When ideas are shared, opportunities grow. 🤝

This morning, we had the pleasure of welcoming Levelland Independent School District to CTECH for a tour of our campus.

As they explore opportunities to expand Career & Technical Education within their high school in partnership with their local college, they came to see firsthand how CTE comes to life at CTECH—from our programs and facilities to the hands-on experiences we provide our students every day.

We love opening our doors, sharing what we’ve learned, exchanging ideas and connecting with others who are just as passionate about creating opportunities for students.

Thank you, Levelland ISD, for spending the morning with us. It was an honor to have you at CTECH, and we’re excited to see where your CTE journey takes you! 🖤💛

Tool of the week ••• Measuring Tape

Measure twice. Cut once. It’s one of the oldest sayings in the trades for a reason! 📏

This week’s Tool Tuesday takes us into Intro to Construction, where students are learning that before you ever pick up the saw, you better know how to use the tape measure.

Reading measurements accurately, marking materials correctly and understanding fractions of an inch may seem like small details….but in construction, those small details can make a BIG difference.

Today they’re measuring boards in the CTECH shop.

Tomorrow, those same skills could be used to build walls, frame homes and construct careers. 🛠️

Learn the tool. Master the skill. Build from there.
