Hobart High School Boys Golf

Hobart Boys participated in the 2026 Sectional today at Forest Park in Valparaiso. Riot Skaltsas will be moving onto Regionals on Thursday 6/11 at Sandy Pines in DeMotte, Indiana. Riot punched his second place individual ticket with an 85. Congratulations 👏

Hobart 364 (58 strokes lower that 2025) tied for 5th with Lowell. Hobart wins the tie breaker at Scherwood in our NCC Championship match. Chase Dukes fires an 83 and is makes 2nd team all conference. Congratulations!
Hobart plays in the LC Invitational on 5/30 and Sectionals on 6/5 at Forest Park.

KV Invite on Saturday at Chesapeake Run in North Judson hosted 20 teams, 100 players!
It did rain right up until tee off then cleared off and ended up being a beautiful day to be outside and golf. Hobart Team score of 374 was good enough for a 15th place finish. Our team dropped an amazing 71 strokes from our 2025 score!
3 players shot a season personal best (9 holes) Riot Skaltsas 40 front 9; Riot got into the zone on the front starting on #3 par, par, birdie, birdie, par and ending #9 with another par, MJ Scheldberg 45 front 9, Gavin Roper 46 back 9.
Two conference home matches this week are HOC Tuesday and KV on Friday.

People keep asking if MJ and Noah are brothers. Friday match results Hobart 194 Morgan 222 for our second win of the season. Chase Dukes was our medalist shooting 41 with 5 pars. Big travel week coming up vs Lowell, Wheeler and a tri- match with Griffith and Bishop Noll.
