Montessori Academy in the Oaks

Our Summer Camp got off to a great start yesterday! We are pretty close to capacity, but if you need a camp this summer, email [email protected]. The camp runs in June and July from 9-3. (Before and after care available upon request.) You can choose half or full day and the amount of days. We hope everyone is having a great summer so far!

MAITO Gala 2026!! We had a fun time performing, singing, dancing, bowling, spending time with families, and eating! Thank you to all the families, board members, and staff that made this such a successful gala! A Galaxy of Gratitude to all of you!

It is always special when students make it to 3rd grade! Third graders are the oldest students, not only in their class, but in the school. They learn how to help others, leadership skills, and critical thinking skills. Montessori students learn so much academically and socially to make our world a better place. Thank you for all the memories!

We had a fun Field Day with Mr. John!

The Lower Elementary Class took a field trip with Ms. Robin, the art teacher, to Valparaiso to do the scavenger hunt of the Birds of Paradise statues. They wrote a report about each bird and made an art project.

Thank you to the Lake County Health Department for coming to talk to all our students about water safety. All students received a beach ball and sunscreen! Have a fun summer and use your new water safety knowledge!
