Brickie Esports Super Smash Bros. players traveled to Manchester University this weekend for the 2025 Spartan Showdown Invite, the largest high school Esports tournament in Indiana with over 230 high school students competing for the championship title. Brickie Esports brought 12 competitors who represented Hobart High School with pride and skill! Three Brickies placed in the Top 32 – Jackson Leonard finished in 17th, Xavier Torres took 5th, and Daveion Holmes won 1st Place, bringing home the championship trophy for the second year in a row.

Congratulations to our Brickie Esports teams at the IEN State Finals! The Brickies brought home two state championship titles (one for SSBU and one for Rocket League), one runner-up title (for Valorant), and our Fortnite team tied in 3rd Place in their 4-team Zone Wars battle!

This week is the official starting week of the fall 2022 season and yesterday our Valorant teams got us off to a great start! Varsity Valorant won 13-0 and JV Valorant won 13-5. Congrats teams!

Congratulations to our Varsity Valorant team who won a tough match today against Logansport, securing their place in the state semi-finals at Bendix Arena on Saturday, May 21st! Way to go team!
