- Choose a pot for planting
Choose pots with drainage holes to grow strawberries to help the plants stay dry, not waterlogged, and grow better.
- Water the pot
Before planting strawberries, water until you see drops of water oozing out at the bottom of the pot, then form small mounds of soil about 7cm in diameter and 2.5cm high to plant strawberries in.
- Plant and harvest strawberries
After soaking the strawberry roots in water, take the plant out and place the roots on the top of the mound, then use your hand to gently brush the roots so that the roots spread out from the top of the mound downwards. Pour soil in. The soil should only be at the level of the root collar, not completely covered.
Finally, when you have finished planting the strawberries, water them with a watering can so that the water is sprayed evenly to avoid the risk of flooding. You also do the same watering as when planting in the garden, watering twice a day in the morning and afternoon when the sun is out.
Like strawberries grown in the garden, strawberries grown in pots can also be harvested after about 2 months of care, at which point you can pick strawberries for use.
