Loftis PTA

09/16/2026

Each month, Loftis PTA likes to do a little something to treat our teachers and remind them that we appreciate everything they do.

This month’s teacher treat is a Hydration Station because, frankly, we feel like anyone who spends their day with middle schoolers deserves a beverage. 😂

We’re asking families to help us stock the teachers’ lounge with some much-needed refreshment! We’ve put together a signup with specific drinks and quantities needed, so all you have to do is pick a spot and help us make it happen.

No fancy baskets. No elaborate setup. Just cold drinks for the people who spend their days educating, encouraging, redirecting, repeating themselves approximately 467 times, and somehow showing up again the next morning. 💚 🩶

Loftis Middle PTA has an open Treasurer position on our board, and we’re looking for someone who would like to jump in and help us keep the PTA’s finances organized and on track!

You do not have to be an accountant, a financial wizard, or someone who dreams in spreadsheets. We’re looking for someone dependable, organized, and willing to learn.

The Treasurer helps with things like:
💵 Keeping track of PTA income & expenses
🧾 Maintaining financial records
🏦 Helping with deposits and payments
📊 Providing financial updates to the board
❤️ Helping make sure our PTA dollars are being used to benefit Loftis students and staff

And yes… there may occasionally be spreadsheets. We cannot promise otherwise. 😂

If you’re interested in learning more about the position or would like to volunteer, send us a message!

Come join the PTA board and help us make good things happen at Loftis! 🐾💚

Hey Cougar families! 🐾

PTA wants YOU… to help us celebrate our incredible teachers! 🎉 It’s officially Teacher Appreciation Week, and we’re still in need of a few gift cards to make the fun happen.

We’ll be using them as prizes for games and activities all week long—because our teachers deserve a little extra recognition (and maybe a coffee or two ☕).

If you’re able to contribute, we would truly appreciate it! Just drop gift cards off in the front office labeled “PTA” and we’ll handle the rest.

Thank you for answering the call and helping us treat our teachers like the VIPs they are! 💚

🎉 Teacher Appreciation Week is almost here at Loftis! 🐾💚

We’ve got a week full of fun planned for our amazing teachers and staff—think games, prizes, and lots of celebrating!

Want to help make it extra special? Our teachers LOVE winning prizes, and we need your help to make that happen. We’re asking families to send in gift cards to your favorite places to add to our prize stash.

📍 Just send them to the office labeled “PTA” and we’ll take care of the rest!

Our goal? EVERY teacher gets a chance to win something 💚

Thank you for helping us show our Loftis teachers just how appreciated they are! 🐾

Testing season is here, and our Cougars need fuel to do their best! 🐾💚

We’re working to make sure every Loftis student gets a snack each day of TCAP testing, and we need your help to make it happen!

If you’re able to donate individually wrapped snacks, we would be so grateful. Every item makes a difference!

Let’s show up for our students and help them stay focused, energized, and ready to shine! ✨
