Loftis Middle PTA has an open Treasurer position on our board, and we’re looking for someone who would like to jump in and help us keep the PTA’s finances organized and on track!

You do not have to be an accountant, a financial wizard, or someone who dreams in spreadsheets. We’re looking for someone dependable, organized, and willing to learn.

The Treasurer helps with things like:
💵 Keeping track of PTA income & expenses
🧾 Maintaining financial records
🏦 Helping with deposits and payments
📊 Providing financial updates to the board
❤️ Helping make sure our PTA dollars are being used to benefit Loftis students and staff

And yes… there may occasionally be spreadsheets. We cannot promise otherwise. 😂

⚫ 8th Grade Formal Setup Help
Parents who are NOT background checked can still help! Volunteers are needed Friday, May 12 from 12:00–2:00 PM to assist with balloon arches and decorations for the 8th Grade Formal at Greenway Farms Conference Center. All materials will be provided — we just need helping hands!

Hey Cougar families! 🐾

PTA wants YOU… to help us celebrate our incredible teachers! 🎉 It’s officially Teacher Appreciation Week, and we’re still in need of a few gift cards to make the fun happen.

We’ll be using them as prizes for games and activities all week long—because our teachers deserve a little extra recognition (and maybe a coffee or two ☕).

If you’re able to contribute, we would truly appreciate it! Just drop gift cards off in the front office labeled “PTA” and we’ll handle the rest.

🎉 Teacher Appreciation Week is almost here at Loftis! 🐾💚

We’ve got a week full of fun planned for our amazing teachers and staff—think games, prizes, and lots of celebrating!

Want to help make it extra special? Our teachers LOVE winning prizes, and we need your help to make that happen. We’re asking families to send in gift cards to your favorite places to add to our prize stash.

We’re working to make sure every Loftis student gets a snack each day of TCAP testing, and we need your help to make it happen!
