This fall, Hiram College welcomes What Stands, What Moves, a photography exhibition by Cleveland-born photographer Roger Mastroianni exploring time, movement and the familiar landscapes of Northeast Ohio.

For 25 years, Hiram College’s Ethics Teach-In has brought our community together to engage with challenging topics through thoughtful conversation.

This year’s event explored the power of language and the role it plays in shaping how we communicate, connect, and understand the world around us. Students and faculty joined sessions that encouraged new perspectives, meaningful dialogue, and critical thinking.

On September 10, Hiram College hosted the 25th annual Ethics Teach-In. The Teach-In is a tradition that prioritizes engaging with difficult topics in a mindful way. At Hiram, all first-year, transfer, and undeclared students attend the Major Fair at the start of the fall semester. Students hear presentations from school directors and get to talk to professors before officially declaring their major.

Today, we celebrated the experiences that bring learning to life at Hiram College. During the Celebration of Experiential Learning, students shared the research, internships, creative projects, community engagement, and hands-on experiences that have shaped their education and helped prepare them for what comes next.

We’re proud of our Terriers for their curiosity, creativity, and willingness to put what they’ve learned into action. Congratulations to all of the students who shared their work today!
