As summer vacation winds down, our students who go back to college begin to eye their departure date. This summer, our longest-tenured student will soon be embarking upon a dream that has been years in the making. We’ve been so fortunate to have Zach at our studio educating, collaborating, and most of all befriending him while he carved his path to this first ot many to come accomplishments.
While we bid him farewell and Godspeed, let Zach’s accomplishment be an example and inspire the next generation of future students of Hinsdale Music Studio! Congratulations, Zach 🤘🏻

There is an Apollo baby grand piano available for FREE. First come first serve. Anyone wanting the piano must pay for the removal but the instrument is free. The piano must be picked up by JANUARY 18! The home has been sold and is closing January 19. Anyone interested should DM me and i can put you in touch with the owner to schedule pick up. Come get it!

Big news! We found out today that our very own Zach Koutsky has been accepted, with scholarship, to Berklee College of Music!! Zach started at our studio in 2018 playing guitar. He was a complete beginner. Since then he has completely immersed himself into music as well as multiple instruments. He has contributed to our showcases over the years by playing in multiple groups, learning all set lists, and giving everything he had to the craft. His progress on guitar and drums was accelerated by hours of devotion. He has performed professionally with me multiple times learning hundreds of songs without any complaints as to what he was learning 😂. He became a teacher here helping kids learn the instrument that he continues to progress on. He has become a mentor to his friends and other students here. He is a quiet, confident leader. I’m proud to call him a friend and a contemporary. I’m proud beyond expression for this accomplishment which will be only one of many. Selfishly, I do not look forward to the day he departs for his adventure in Boston but I certainly want him to follow his dream and I wish him well beyond whatever words I can express. Its been my honor and privilege as it is to all the students I’ve been fortunate enough to work with. Zach! We are all proud of what you’ve done. Continue to exceed beyond what anyone could have expected. You have earned it. You deserve it. Although I know he’ll remain humble, you can pat yourself on the back…for now…there’s more ahead. Congratulations to Zach Koutsky!!

This Saturday The Mighty Vikings are hitting the stage at Friendly Tap for a Rock The Rescue battle of the bands. The show starts at 1 pm! Come on out and help the kids take it over for the top prize!

Congrats to Vivie as she is the proud new owner of her first acoustic guitar! She’s a southpaw, too! So excited for my students when they get a new instrument! Love to see the excitement and joy it can bring!
