Senior night was awesome! Congratulations to all the seniors!

From the great Dan Gable: “A lot of my intensity in wrestling was due to my mental preparation before the matches. I got myself into a different world.”

HC Wrestling Family,

Happy New Year!

The HC Wrestling Program competed at the DeKalb Don Flavin Invite on December 29th and 30th. The Red Devils finished 2-4 on the weekend with wins over Geneva and Glenbard West but came up short against New Trier, Glenbrook North, Plainfield Central, and Notre Dame.

The Red Devil Competitors:
106 Kyle Brillantes and Jose Pacheco, 113 Andrew Perez, 120 Alex Paglinawan and David Suarez, 126 Abel Gomez, 132 Ron Kruse, 138 Chris Barnard, 145 Liam Drury, 152 John Antonelli, 160 Hunter Belvis, 170 Daniel Aviles and AJ Nasharr, 182 Julian Little, 195 Toby Misicko, 220 Chris Robinson, and 285 Alex Kumskis.

We are into the 2nd part of the season. Everyone must continue working hard and stay focused on the team and your individual goals! The grind is real and we must fight through adversity and be resilient for the 2nd part of the season! Boom!

The Varsity finished 13 of 28 teams at the very tough Barrington Invite.
Hinsdale Central was the only team at the invite to have 3 individual champions! Boom!
