I have so many people to thank for making my first so memorable and inspiring, but first and foremost has to be Jim, Andy, and Jack of .

Being chosen for the Frontier Award has opened so many doors for my path forward as a bladesmith, and I'll remember this as a turning point in my life forever, and I am grateful to be able to call the Berkenfields my friends.

I also want to thank my ever supportive parents for coming with me on this adventure. They are always there for me and encouraging me in my lofty artist dreams :)

Sleep was a secondary priority as I tried my best to maximize every possible second absorbing as much information and experience as I could from anyone who would give me a moment of their time and wisdom. I have met so many of my favorite smiths, met new favorite smiths, and learned something to apply to my work and mindset from each of them. I am deeply grateful to each of them who took a moment of their time to look at my knives and graciously give me feedback. I even sold few custom knives at this first ever show!

Anxious to get back in the forge and keep working!
