Button Gwinnett Elementary Button Gwinnett Elementary is a Distinguished Title 1 Elementary school located right outside of Fort Stewart - the Rock of the Marne.

We proudly serve Kindergarten through 5th grade students. Our school mascot is the Eagle and we encourage our students to Soar to Success! Girls on the Run is coming to BGE!
The deadline to register is Monday, August 31!

We are so excited to be forming a school team of 3rd-5th grade girls who will meet after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays until 4:30. Girls on the Run is a running club where members make friends, get their bodies moving, gain new skills, set goals at their pace, and most of all have FUN while building confidence!

Today was the very first day of visits and checkouts for the year here at the BGE Library! We want to feature Raelynn; she was the very first student to check out library books this year! She selected a new “Pencil and Eraser” book as well as a “Dork Diaries” book! Enjoy your choices, Raelynn!

By the end of the day, we checked out exactly 100 books to 3 classes who were on today’s orientation schedule. Tomorrow we will see 4 more classes. It’s a year of “Peace, Love, and READING” here at good ol’ BGE Library!

BGE uses Beanstack to help our students make reading a daily habit! ❤️

Daily reading is one of the best ways students can grow as readers. Beanstack makes it easy for students to log reading, track progress, and celebrate growth!

The graphic below provides step-by-step directions to help families set up the Beanstack app on your home device and begin logging your child’s reading!

We encourage our families to make reading 20–30 minutes each day a special part of your child’s routine. A little reading every day can make a BIG difference!
