They spent the afternoon watching, learning, and experiencing what it looks like to be an educator in action. Every great teacher starts somewhere. Today, their journey began!

Hello all! Here is some info about our Animation Pathway here at LCCA! As well as a snippet of what the students have done so far.
In the pathway we create for the screen, but animation is not just limited to film and television. It can be used in the medical field, government, advertisement, gaming industry, education, and so many other industries! So please enjoy and be on the look out for what we do!

FCCLA Chapter 12232 had a great time at the Region 9 Meeting at Georgia Southern University!

Our members spent the day making new friends, learning new things, developing leadership skills, and creating memories! We are excited for everything this year has in store for Chapter 12232!

Our Teaching as a Profession Intro students had a week full of amazing guest speakers! They truly are some of the best professionals the Liberty County School District has to offer.

On Tuesday, Mr. Trey Searles visited our students and shared about his role as a Behavior Coach and Special Education Teacher within our district.

On Wednesday, Mrs. Pamela Farrie, Lead Social Worker for the Liberty County School District, spoke to our students about her role as a school social worker and the important work she does to support students and families.

Today, Mrs. Lakendra Elliot wrapped up our week of guest speakers by discussing her career as a school counselor. She was able to give our students a unique perspective as a counselor who has worked at both the elementary and high school levels.

A special thank you to all of our guest speakers for taking the time to share your experiences and knowledge with our students! You have helped inspire the next generation of professionals!

Joe Packheiser, Southern Location Scout, was at LCCA today looking for potential filming locations for a Paramount Pictures feature film with plans to shoot in 2027.

We are excited about this opportunity to show off our facility in hopes of being part of this exciting venture.

A special thank you to Dr. Sukaratana and Frank Long Elementary School for hosting our Teaching as a Profession Practicum students! Our students had a great first week and are excited for the experiences ahead.

We would also like to thank our amazing FLE mentor teachers for welcoming our students into their classrooms and supporting them as they gain valuable, hands-on experience in the teaching profession. We truly appreciate your partnership!

Nine LCCA associates attended Job Palooza at Enmarket Arena in Savannah today. The event, sponsored by RISE and WorkSource Coastal Georgia provided an opportunity for job seekers to meet with over 100 employers in the region.

They are not just beginning a practicum. They are beginning the journey of becoming the teachers who will inspire, empower, and shape the next generation.
