Hinesburg Nursery School is almost full! Just a couple of spots are available at our conveniently-located, nonprofit, parent cooperative preschool, right next to HCS. HNS offers 3, 4, and 5 half days with options for full school days. We use the perfect blend of fresh air and nature play in our recently renovated outdoor classroom and creative indoor ventures like cooking, art, and music exploration to nurture development of the whole child.

Hinesburg Nursery School is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a portion of the Stewart’s Holiday Match Grant, a program that supports children under 18 years of age in Stewart’s Shops markets.

The grant will be used to improve building conditions at the school. Specifically, it will go towards rebuilding the fire escape so that we can better utilize the newly acquired upstairs space.

The Stewart’s Holiday Match program is made possible through the generosity of customers who donate during the holiday season, with Stewart’s Shops matching those contributions. More information about the program can be found at www.stewartsshops.com/communitygiving.

HNS is working on a new project for the community. Babies grow quickly and a lot of items are only needed for a few weeks. With this in mind, HNS is building an inventory of used baby items to save families from buying costly items for such a short amount of use. It’s also much better for the environment!
