Educator Appreciation Week: May 4–8, 2026

Friends of CVU is planning ways to show our appreciation for the incredible educators and staff at Champlain Valley Union High School during Educator Appreciation Week

We are reaching out to our community to see if anyone has connections to local businesses or services and would be willing to help us by asking about available services, a possible discount, or exploring a donation. We do have some funds available, but any reduced pricing or in‑kind support would go a long way!

Voters in Shelburne, Williston, Charlotte, St. George, and Hinesburg will decide on the Champlain Valley School District FY27 budget.

Your voice matters on Tuesday! Support CVU students!

The Champlain Valley School District Board and administration have developed a $107.9M FY27 budget focused on transparency, collaboration, and maintaining high-quality education for nearly 4,000 students across five towns and six schools — despite a challenging fiscal landscape and $9 million in reductions over the past two years.

The budget was approved on January 20 and will go before voters on Town Meeting Day, Tuesday, March 3, 2026.

Voters in Shelburne, Williston, Charlotte, St. George, and Hinesburg will be asked to approve the Champlain Valley School District’s $107.9M FY27 budget.

After two years of $9 million in reductions and 82 position cuts, the CVSD Board and administration have worked since September to develop a budget that maintains high-quality education for nearly 4,000 students while navigating a challenging fiscal landscape.
