⭐️ It’s SENIOR SPOTLIGHT Time ⭐️

Our last senior is our Libero, Avery Sluss #9.

Avery has been a member of the KCC Volleyball team since her 7th grade year. Avery has developed into one of the best liberos in our region since starting at the position last year. Avery has already surpassed 700 digs and is an excellent server with over 150 aces. Avery is a true competitor, sometimes risking so much for just that one touch to keep the ball alive. She constantly displays grit and determination and is an emotional leader on our team. Avery is always quick to encourage anyone who needs a boost and celebrate all of her teammates’ accomplishments.

Avery has always been a help in volunteering time as well to referee elementary volleyball. Her family has always been extremely supportive of our program and we hope to have them be a part for years to come with Avery’s sister, Quinn.

Avery is an excellent student and also is a state champion in speech. She plans to attend college and obtain her bachelors in nursing.

♥️ , Avery Sluss!

⭐️ It’s SENIOR SPOTLIGHT Time ⭐️
Our first senior is our Setter, Lily Blair #19.

Lily has been a member of the KCC Volleyball team since her 7th grade year. Lily has stepped into her role as setter, distributing the ball effectively to our hitters. Lily is nearing 300 assists this season. Lily was instrumental in our win in the regional championship last year with effective serving and delivering the set for the final point of our championship win. Lily has stepped into her full time role and continues to be a leader for this year’s team.

Lily and her family are always great supporters of our program. Not only do we miss the players we work so closely with when they graduate, but the bonds we develop with their family members are just as close. Lily has always been a help in volunteering time to referee elementary volleyball and in concession work, and her mother, Suzanne, has always been so wonderful to do many of the tasks that go unnoticed in a volleyball program.

Lily is an excellent student and is a state champion in speech, helping to bring home the championship to KCC in the KHSSL competition. Lily plans to attend college and obtain a degree in education with the goal of teaching social studies.

♥️ , show Lily some love in the comments!
