Well, this is the kind of feedback that makes our day. ❤️

After 600+ miles across Mongolia in one of the toughest equestrian challenges in the world, these J&S Ultra Trek stirrups are back, and aside from a well-earned layer of Mongolian dirt, they're looking pretty darn good. 😉

Hearing feedback like this from a rider who just put them through conditions most tack will never encounter is incredibly rewarding.

We can talk all day about comfort, durability, and why we build our products the way we do, but seeing them come home after the Mongol Derby looking like this and hearing what the rider who trusted them for every one of those miles has to say? That speaks for itself.

Four more riders are safely through those finish line flags!

Michelle Whetung (MWH) from Canada, Ayako Taku (ATA) from Japan, Kelsy Stormski (KST) from the USA and Paige Rylander (PRY) from the USA have ridden in together to claim equal 20th place in the 2026 Mongol Derby.

After ten days of fresh horses, huge kilometres, navigation challenges, tired bodies and all the unpredictable moments the Mongolian steppe could throw their way, these four can finally say they’ve done it.

They’ve each had their own very different Derby journey, with plenty of highs, lows and stories collected along the way - but today, they got to share the moment that makes every one of those kilometres worth it.

Crossing those finish line flags.
