Where are my ladies at?

My go getters?
My positive life givers?
My movers & shakers?
My failing forward because that’s how we learners?

I’m looking for women to build with. To empower. To pray with. To workout and eat clean with. To rise up with.

Is that you?

May the road rise up to meet you today!

You are what you repeatedly do.
*
Excellence is a habit.
*
Have you heard that before?
Have you actually tried it?
*
TRY THIS ⬇️
➕prioritize what’s REALLY important to you. If you do not know what that is off the top of your head-Start with your heart. Everything you do will flow from it.
➕seek mentors.
➕read, listen & learn.
➕implement ONE action and repeat it everyday for 30 days at the same time.

*
_____ will follow. Insert words like, “fit, faith, family, an income, joy, health.”

Seems easy enough? WRONG. Easy is letting letting your day go by without connecting to your power source. Easy is hitting snooze. Easy is working out when you feel like it. Buying takeout. Letting the dishes/laundry pile up, drinking that extra glass of wine...

Excellence requires D I S C I P L I N E 💪🏻

It’s hard & I don’t get it right all the time. There are some days, I don’t get it right at all.

BUT-

When you start to implement positive, daily disciplines, you start to feel empowered, encouraged, strong, excited-because you’re growing and failing forward at the same time. You take the bad with the good because you know that God is at work and He gives you the strength to keep going.

Have you felt the tug? Like the voice in your head or the feeling on your heart that says, “do something different?” Or how about, “you can do better?”

God placed that same tug on my heart 9 months ago when I stepped into this job as an online coach. I’m going for it, because I feel better when I honor my body and I get outside of myself by serving others.

Here are some simple daily disciplines /habits that I practice daily ⬇️

➕Every morning, I wake up and spend time with the Lord. I read a section from my three empowerment books that I journal key takeaways from. I write down what I’m grateful for and I start my day.

➕During the day, I fuel my body with the nutrition it craves.

➕Every evening, I workout for 30 minutes per day by following a specific plan.

*
Here’s what’s followed-
A strengthened faith, a fueled and fit body, a growing income, and an awesome support group!

What daily disciplines do you practice? Drop one below ⬇️ to share in the growth!

I’m learning it’s not e destination but a state of being.

☀️ For me-it’s waking up to my morning routine of prayer, learning and gratitude.

💦 It’s getting my workout in and staying consistent with my meal, water and sleep plan.

💪🏻 It’s helping and building up my family, friends, neighbors and fitness team!

🐶It’s loving on my dog.

🙏🏻 It’s constantly looking for new ways to be the hands and feet of Jesus.

What does successful look like to you? ⬇️

♥️She believed she could, so she did!

❌She had self-doubt.
❌She had insecurities.
❌She had fears.

🤍But then she realized that was insulting to her Creator, so she believed that God was BIGGER than her “problems” and let go of all that was weighing her down (literally)!

So she:
🤍Educated herself
🤍Got plugged into a health community
🤍Started fueling her body
🤍Follows a plan
🤍Is growing in confidence
🤍Is growing in strength
🤍Is growing in faith

Who’s with her?! Message me so I can share all the tools that helps me grow and let’s do it, together ❗️💪🏻♥️

Wonder Wednesday!

I'm reading this motivational book by Victoria Osteen called, "Exceptional You!" and am always inspired by God's word.

Today, she talked about rearranging your thoughts and adopting a winning attitude. I can often look back and be reminded of times (at work especially) where my focus was on the problems rather than the size of our GOD...have you been there?

The story comes from the book of Numbers where Moses sent two men out in the land of Canaan to bring back the fruit to show the Israelites what was in store for them. Although they saw the milk and honey and brought back the fruit-the men that were with them took notice of the giants and soon defeat washed over the people before they even arrived. The people ended up wandering in the dessert for over 40 years! EXCEPT for the 2-Joshua and Caleb, who kept a spirit of FAITH.

They decided who they were going to serve and they remained faithful and obedient. They were 85 years old and felt stronger than they did at 45 years!

I feel like this can directly relate to our health & wellness journeys. I've often allowed the "giants" (lack of time, not enough money, stress from work take my focus and this led me down a path of WANDERING.

I remember back in May, I decided to adopt a Winning attitude over my life and learn what would sustain me rather than help me lose the weight and have another episode of sliding backwards.

That's the power of faith, discipline, obedience and maximizing the tools that are right in front of you. Now-don't get me wrong, I let doubt creep in-I let worry keep me up at night-but then I get back into the word and put my armor back on a little tighter and I choose to FIGHT with the ultimate weapon against the evil one placing those thoughts inside me.

My encouragement for YOU is to be reminded of:
You're not alone-you have a family that is here for you-if you allow us to be!
God is working for our GOOD, but He gives us the choice to choose.

Maximize the TOOLS that God is giving you-

I'd LOVE to here from each of you below anything that is on your heart, anything that you need support in, any goals that you want us to keep you accountable in.

⚓️ What anchors you?

On the left—-> job, family, God, working out, cooking (May 2020).

What I’ve learned over the past 8 months is that although those are great anchors, I didn’t have a balance firmly in place. I overdid the job, saw my family to vent, had a weekly devotional, got to the gym when I could and would “cut out gluten.” Doesn’t sound bad, right? But, I always found myself tired, drinking too much wine, picking up the word when I needed it and the tank ran dry pretty quick!

⚓️On the right—>Cue daily anchors •
+daily devotional
+professional development
+30 min workout
+superfood shake
+journaling
+nightly dinners with Pat
+coaching other women to go after what they want
+learning how to balance macronutrients

Now, my tank is always being refueled with consistent value adding anchors and I’ve never felt better! This month is all about falling in love with who God has called you to be by learning how to balance food, fitness & relationships. I challenge you to examine what anchors you, water them daily and get plugged into a community that’s going to help you get better every day so you can be better equipped to serve others 🤍 If you’re in need of a village, send me a message and I’ll get you hooked up in this month’s challenge group where we’re providing you the tools to set sail on your health & fitness dreams ⛵️
