Here’s where we are!
Downtown Hilo has so many beautiful old buildings — and a lot of doors and entryways — so it can sometimes be a little confusing to find the right one.
Hale Lomilomi O Kekaimalino is located right next to Sig Zane Designs, one of Hawaiʻi’s most respected aloha wear brands, known for their beautiful designs inspired by native plants and Hawaiian culture.
Our clinic is upstairs in one of the historic Downtown Hilo buildings that are over 100 years old, part of the charm and character that make this town so special.
Once you come upstairs, you’ll step into a quiet space overlooking the ocean — a place to slow down, receive lomilomi, and reconnect.
Swipe through the photos so you know exactly where to find us.
We look forward to welcoming you!

This week, our haumāna were blessed with special guest speakers.
First, Uncle Desmon Haumea — so dear to me as one of my very first kumu of the Hawaiian way of life, alongside my Kumu lomi, Dane Silva. He is a voyager, a healer, a martial artist, a cook, and a musician. He shared about p**e in Hawaiian culture, and his words reminded me where my own learning began… and how much more there always is to learn.
Next, we welcomed Dr. Makaʻala Yates. In just two hours, he shared from his new book, spoke on hoʻokala (how to let go), and even put me on the table to demonstrate lomi techniques. A powerful reminder of the ʻōlelo noʻeau: ʻaʻohe pau ka ʻike i ka hālau hoʻokahi — not all knowledge is taught in the same school.
I believe many seeds were planted in our haumāna this week. Mahalo nui loa to Haumea-san aka Uncle Des, to Dr. Makaʻala, and to Nancy Kahalewai for bringing Dr. Makaʻala to us.

🌺 Scholarship Opportunity for Native Hawaiians 🌺
Supporting the next generation of Hawaiian healing practitioners.
In many ʻohana, there’s someone with healing hands—the one who gives lomi to their tūtū, makua, aunties, and uncles. But often, they haven’t had the opportunity to pursue professional training or licensure.
At Hale Lomilomi O Kekaimalino, as a state-approved massage workshop provider, we believe in supporting those who are already caring for their community. One step at a time, one person at a time—we hope this scholarship can help open the door for someone who has long carried the healing traditions in their hands and heart.
📚 Phase One: Aug 18 – Oct 23, 2025 | $2,300 Tuition 💸 Scholarship: $1,840 (you only pay $460 deposit)
