Professor Michael Marshall, UHH Art Lecturer Kevin Diminyatz, and a couple of art students were able to assist with installing the Plant Art Exhibition that is currently on display in the UH Hilo Mo'okini Library. The exhibition will be on display from February 2nd - April 4th, 2020.
Students also assisted with the installation of the The Metaphysics of Abstraction III Exhibition that is on display in the Campus Center Gallery (301) & Lounge. The exhibition will be on display from February 3rd - April 9th, 2020.

In preparation for the 7th Annual Frank Zappa Tribute Concert by the UH Hilo Jazz Orchestra, members of the Student Arts Association screen printed +200 shirts to sell at the concert on Wednesday and Thursday, December 11th & 12th on the theater lanai at 7 PM.
All proceeds will go towards support for both the Jazz Orchestra and Arts Association's 2020 travels.

The UH Hilo Art Department was fortunate enough to host an inspiring artist talk with our 2018 PSBN Residency Award Winner & Visiting Artist, Todd Herzberg.
The 2019 PSBN Invitational is on display in the Campus Center Gallery (301) and Lounge (directly across of 301) on the UH Hilo Campus. The exhibition will be on view until December 21st so if you have the time, definitely check the show out.

The Jan Ken Po Exhibit features works by Tiana Honda, a recent graduate of UH Hilo, as well works by current UH Hilo art students Jessica Loeffler and Kawelina Cruz. The exhibit will be on display at Wailoa Center until October 24th so please check it out if you can.

The UH Hilo Art Department has finally completed Volume II of the Artist Print Edition Project. The overall project took 5 years to complete but due to the efforts of Professor Jon Goebel, faculty members, and students (past and present) the portfolios have finally been sent to each respective artist that collaborated on this project.
Please visit the Art Department website and take a look at all the prints from the various visiting artists we have hosted from 2014 through 2016.
