We are excited to share some wonderful news! Kua O Ka Lā has been given the opportunity to distribute free boxes of local produce and protein to our community. This program is made possible through the generosity of Ho‘ōla Farms, in partnership with Hawaii Food Hub Hui and the DOE.
Boxes will be distributed on alternating Thursdays, beginning on February 6 through May 22, 2025 from 1:30-3pm at our Nani Mau Campus. Priority will be given to community members residing in Kea’au, Mountain View, Pahoa, and Volcano.
Feel free to share this amazing opportunity with your family and friends who reside in these priority areas, as well. Please note that an adult must be present at pick-up to sign for the boxes. Therefore, we are unable to send boxes home with students on the bus.
