HŌʻIKE HULA - We are proud to announce that Hālau Hula Kauluola will be holding its first official hula show at this year's Mele Manaka Community Week Celebrations. Come support us at SCP Hilo Hotel on Friday, April 14 starting at 9 am.

Enjoy this FREE event for the entire ʻohana filled with local vendors, live music, cultural workshops, and HULA!

MĀKEKE MELE MANAKA - E Mai, E Mai, E Kākoʻo Mai! Hālau Hula Kauluola is excited to be having a fundraiser booth at this yearʻs Ka ʻUmeke Kāʻeo Mākeke Mele Manaka!

We will be selling a variety of Leis, exclusive locally-made care products to ulu and ola, and one-of-a-kind umbrellas.

KĪPAEPAE WELINA - Come and witness a meaningful Kīpaepae Welina on Sunday, April 9th from 9 am - 10 am at the Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium. Hālau Hula Kauluola is honored to be sharing space with Unukupukupu and the Kaiāulu to welcome this yearʻs 60th Merrie Monarch Festival. This is a FREE event for the community, so please come and celebrate with us the opening of this yearʻs 60th Merrie Monarch Festival.

Hālau Hula Kauluola | Kauluola Hālau Hula Kauluola opened its doors this year in 2022. Kauluola, are processes within hālau hula that are considered to be life’s inspiration, and that will support the welfare of their haumāna (studentʻs) physical and mental health.
