Liam the service dog spent the last two years attending every single lecture, lab, and clinical rotation at with his owner, professor Tracy Thornett.

Leiya Margareth Torrano didn’t just earn her business administration degree this May—she built a permanent first-generation network at UH Hilo to make sure local high schoolers and future scholars never have to navigate higher education alone.

Lexie Tilton isn’t just leaving UH Hilo with a degree; she’s leaving with a mission. From holding it down in the outfield as PacWest Co-Defender of the Year to getting her real estate license while still in school, she’s been busy!

Now, she’s heading to Richardson School of Law to fight for affordable housing so local families can actually afford to stay in the islands. Lexie, we’re so lucky to have you in our corner. 🏠❤️
