This Land is “ CROWN “ Lands or PUBLIC LANDS. Besides generating income for the DLNR how do these lands serve the PUBLIC?
We, the PUBLIC should move these Oceanside hotels and condos to Kalanianaole Hwy replacing the golf course, allowing the PUBLiC a clear visible access to the shoreline. Everybody speaks about King tides and rising ocean. It appears that DLNR are a supporting the old way, no ARCHAIC foreign concept of developing PUBLIC lands.
We must rise as the PUBLIC and stop this careless act and DLNR using our lands, acting as if THEY own the land. Remember they are in trust of our Public lands not OWNERS. I am calling all people concerned with DLNR’s development of our lands to come forward and demand attention BEFORE the fact not after. Let’s enlarge the beautiful Liliuokalani Park. Mahalo

𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐃𝐑𝐄𝐍'𝐒 𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐎𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐒!!
In the name of love, on this Valentine's Day, please weigh in on the side of the kids. Sustainable school lunches was THE most important issue for 14,000 public school students in the November Kids Voting process. Let's show them we care by pushing for change around school lunch.
Parents and advocates for our keiki, we need to change our school lunch procurement process so we can get fresh, local food food on our kids' plates and support our local farmers!.
We need your testimony to make this happen.
Go to the link below, then select "Submit Testimony." If you don't have an account already, select "register" in the upper right corner first.
On the page that pops up, select "continue" on the left. Then enter Bill (HB702). Complete the form with your name, support, identifying yourself as an individual citizen and write a quick note (optional) in the box at the bottom explaining why you think we need to feed our kids local food.
