Gearing up for Kindergarten graduations, we were able to donate a copy of *Will the Pigeon Graduate?* to every Kindergarten teacher! These books were purchased with profits from our Book Fair, and each Kindergarten class will get to enjoy the story before graduation day! 🎓📚

We are excited to have three bilingual Portuguese/English authors join us at the Hilmar Elementary School library for a special evening. Join us for the Portuguese Author Talk tomorrow, Thursday, May 21 from 5:00pm-6:30pm. This event is open to the community and we’d love to see you there! The presentations are in English and their books will be for sale.

We want to thank our transportation department and bus drivers for all they do to safely get our students to and from field trips!

HES PTO pays for all transportation costs for field trips, including this trip all of our first graders took to the Fresno Chaffee Zoo.

Your support helps make these experiences possible and gets our students on these amazing learning adventures.l
