For 39 years, Mrs. Ponceano has dedicated her time, talents, and heart to the students of our district. We are so grateful she spent the last two years of her career as the librarian at HES.

We will miss her so much and appreciate everything she has done for our students and staff. Not only did she help establish our beautiful library, she also inspired a love of reading in countless students. Her impact on our school community will not be forgotten.

Showing up every day makes a difference! These 13 honeybees earned a special end-of-year trip to lunch and bowling at Ten Pin Fun Center for achieving perfect attendance all school year long!

Our new Rydable has really created quite the buzz! The students who have already had a chance to take the bee for a ride were winners of our attendance drawing.

Parents, want your student to have a chance to ride next? It’s easy, and it starts fresh every week!

1. Show up to school on time (no tardies)

2. Stay at school all day (no early checkouts)

3. Come to school every day all week

That’s it!

Last week was full of fun, celebration, and special memories across campus! We spent the week spreading the love as we celebrated our principals, teachers, nurse, staff members, families, and the special people in our students’ lives who help make our school community so strong.
Each Kindergarten class hosted a special Mother’s Day Tea, TK students enjoyed a fun Family Day with their loved ones, and the Hilmar High School Track and Field team welcomed students during morning drop off. Our 1st graders also enjoyed an exciting field trip to the Fresno Chaffee Zoo where they explored, learned, and made great memories together.
Thank you to everyone who helped make the week so meaningful for our students and families!

Our TK students in Mrs. Aguila Moran’s class were in for a treat on May 4! Their teachers fully embraced the Star Wars fun by dressing up and even sending rockets up to Baby Yoda! A galaxy full of imagination, laughter, and learning made for an out of this world day in this TK class!

Our teachers were celebrated in such a special way as their loved ones were invited to campus for Teacher Appreciation Week. It was beautiful to see the support systems behind our incredible educators and the love poured back into them. 💚
