With our end of year banquet coming up, this outstanding group of officers will be hanging up their jackets. Some will be returning to new positions for next year and others will finish this chapter of their FFA careers.

We only thought it appropriate to highlight these ladies and gentlemen once more to commend them on a job well done. This group has faced changes, adversity, growth, HARD WORK, and challenges with grace and poise. Despite everything thrown their way this year, they remained a family through it all.

To the 2025-2026 CCHS Officer Team, congratulations on a job well done. Thank you all for your year of service to this organization. Your futures are so bright! 😎

Today was a pretty big day for Carroll County agriculture students. We were honored to showcase our agriculture program to Katie Frazier, Virginia Secretary of Agriculture and Rachel Meyers, Manager of VDACS Agriculture and Forestry Development for the Division of Marketing and Development.

We began the day with a tour of the agriculture department at CCHS. Next, we traveled to the school farm where we met up with Carroll County Middle School FFA to showcase our land lab and joint efforts in hands-on agricultural education. We finished the day by releasing a group of poundage heifers. Students will have the opportunity to learn safe cattle handling practices and good stockmanship. This group of heifers will be staying with us through the fall, giving students the ability to plan rotational grazing models, master cattle working skills, and utilize classroom teachings in a real-world scenario.

We are so grateful to everyone who has made this possible and to everyone who supports us! Stay tuned – we have more great things in store for this year!
