Sho-kin Family: The pandemic has been challenging for everyone in a multitude of ways. As a small business, this is a crucial time where many have struggled to stay afloat. First, I would like to express gratitude to the parents who have continued to support by participating in our online Zoom lessons. You have kept Shokin afloat with your patronage. I am honored that Iβve been able to continue in my passion for impacting the youth through karate despite the challenges of being remote. It has been an adjustment, to say the least and I truly look forward to seeing everyone in person again.
If you werenβt able to continue during the pandemic I understand and respect the need to discontinue over the past few months. I welcome you back and look forward to continuing our training. Many karate schools and fitness centers have closed their doors due to this pandemic. Karate is a lifestyle that promotes discipline, focus, goal setting and physical wellbeing.
We have begun meeting in a park for class. On Tuesday (6.23.2020), I was thrilled to see 10 students show up for class ready to pick up where we left off. We are practicing social distancing guidelines and taking extra precautions to keep our students safe. All clases will continue to be held outdoors for the duration of the summer, unless it rains (we will be at the dojo). If you havenβt joined us yet, I welcome you to join us. Please message me for details.
Thank you for your support and I look forward to our continued partnership in developing a strong future for our youth.
