We packed a lot into our first four days of school, and what a positive start it has been!

Our Cardinals were greeted in style on the first day - by staff, the school board and Hillside first responders! We settled into classrooms, learned new routines, reconnected with old friends, and began making new ones. We worshiped together at chapel, showed our school spirit at a pep rally, and spent plenty of time getting back into the rhythm of learning and growing together.

We wrapped up the week with an all-school Affirmation Party, celebrating and encouraging one another, with snacks, of course! 🍿🍪

It may have been a short week, but it was full of smiles, energy, encouragement, much needed naps and so many great moments. We are thankful for such a joyful beginning and excited to see what God has in store for ICA this year!

Welcome back, Cardinals! We are so excited to begin the **2026–2027 school year** together!

Today marks the start of a new year filled with learning, friendships, growth, laughter, and opportunities to grow in faith. We pray God’s blessings over every student, family, teacher, and staff member as we begin this new adventure together.

THANK YOU, ICA COMMUNITY!

What a wonderful day! We are incredibly grateful to everyone who came out and supported our COMMIT Fundraiser at ICA today! 🙌🏽

A huge THANK YOU to all of our amazing instructors who gave their time and energy to lead classes, and to every person who showed up, participated, and supported ourj school!

We are also so thankful for every person who donated school supplies and purchased items from our Amazon Wish List. Your generosity is truly a blessing to our students, teachers, and entire school community.

And a very SPECIAL THANK YOU to our wonderful PTL President, Mrs. Skinner, for organizing and putting together this amazing event! We are so grateful for your time, hard work, dedication, and heart for ICA. Thank you for bringing our community together in such a special way!
Most of all, we thank God for the people He continues to place in our path and for the connections, relationships, and support that continue to surround ICA. We do not take any of it for granted!

🎳ICA student Landen Henderson was recently featured on CBS Chicago’s Eye on Chicago for his incredible accomplishments in bowling - with a special appearance from our very own Mrs. Nash! 🎳

Back in June, we shared how Landen made history by becoming the youngest winner ever of the Indiana Times Classic Bowling Tournament, competing against a field of adult bowlers. His success is the result of years of practice, determination, a love of learning, and the support of his family.

Today, we are especially proud that Landen is recognized not only for his talent, but also for his compassion, respect, humility, and determination — qualities we are blessed to see in him here at ICA. Congratulations, Landen! Keep working hard, staying humble, and enjoying every frame. Your ICA family is cheering you on! 🎳🏆👏
