RUSH SIGMA CHI

Spring 2025 Rush is upon us. Pull up to our events over the next two weeks to meet the brothers, get some food, and become acquainted with the Alpha Kappa chapter. All events will be held from 6-8 PM.

Men join fraternities, leaders of men join Sigma Chi.

Tuesday night, the brothers of Sigma Chi had the opportunity to hear the Nativity story from the Gospel of Luke and reflect upon the semester, led by none other than our very own Doc Connor! This tradition began in 1989, and continues to serve as the culminating brotherhood event of our year. Merry Christmas!

We’ve got some champions in the house 🔥🔫🇺🇦 Big congratulations to our shotgun brothers who took home the ACUI/SCTP division 2 national championship trophy 🏆😱 Special shoutout to John Calabrese and Jordan Sapp for being named first and second team All American respectively. Good work boys, in hoc.

Congratulations to Clare Wildern, the 2023-2024 sweetheart of the Sigma Chi Alpha Kappa chapter !! Clare has been an amazing friend to the brothers of the chapter, and we are honored to have her as our sweetheart ! Brother Tristan Wertanzl expresses his excitement on slide 4 😊

SIG SHOUTOUT: This week we’re shouting out brother ! Josh is a finance major and has been an invaluable member of the alpha kappa chapter, serving as Consul, Proconsul, Quaestor, and many other positions within the chapter.

Outside of Sigma Chi he has been the vice president of the management consulting club, a career coach at the Hillsdale college career services office, and a producer for the career services podcast. He’s worked in private equity, IB, and management consulting, and will be working as an analyst at the ArkMalibu Investment Bank postgrad. The future is looking bright for Josh, and we are proud to call him our brother 💙💛

After brother lavaliered Andrew Klare’s mom the unthinkable happened: he found love. While she is not quite Mrs. Klare’s age, brother Twaz is very happy. was gracious enough to lavalier her in his stead. Wishing nothing but the best for the happy couple and Al! In hoc brothers 🇺🇦🔥❤️

SIG SPOTLIGHT: Today’s sig shoutout is for ! Caleb is an art major who specializes in photography. He recently had his senior art show in which he displayed some of his best pieces, most of which can be found on his photography account, .photography .

Holme is a member of the legacy board, went to study in Washington on WHIP, and was a manager at Penny’s café.

SIG SHOUT OUT: this week we’re shouting out brother ! As mock trial team captain, Caleb led the Hillsdale mock trial team to become divisional champs and regional runners up!

Caleb won the Sigma Chi Balfour award, is an all American witness for Mock Trial, is top ten in his graduating class, and is headed to Uchicago law this fall. Best of luck to an integral brother of the Alpha Kappa chapter!
