Did you know that Hillsdale College was the first American college to prohibit in its charter any discrimination based on race, religion, or s*x, and became an early force for the abolition of slavery? It was also the second college in the nation to grant four-year liberal arts degrees to women. Hillsdale continues to carry on that mission today.

President's Club members are invited to attend the Commencement Weekend activities. The Candlelight Dinner and Symphony Orchestra are Friday evening May 8 (seating is limited), followed by the President's Club breakfast on Saturday morning. Take a tour of the Searle Center under construction at 10:00 am. Commencement speaker is Michael Ward, a C.S. Lewis scholar from the University of Oxford. RSVP to the Special events office by April 27.
