Huge news for our district! We are bursting with pride to welcome back one of our very own, Ania Lopez-Acuna, from the international stage. Ania recently returned from competing as a Goalkeeper for the Mexican U17 Women’s National Team!

Earning a spot on a national roster is one of the highest honors in sports, and seeing Ania transition from our own athletic fields to the global arena is a powerful reminder of what hard work and dedication can achieve. As a goalkeeper, Ania carries the immense responsibility of leading from the back of the net, and she has officially proven she can hold her own against the best young talent in the world.

We are so fortunate to have such an inspiring student-athlete representing our community and showing us all what it means to chase big dreams with grit and grace. 🏈 BIG NEWS FROM BIG CENTRAL! 🏈

History was made yesterday as our brand-new Girls’ Flag Football program officially stepped into the spotlight! We headed out to the Big Central Conference Media Day, and the energy was electric. ⚡️

We are incredibly proud to introduce our inaugural head coach, Coach Scott Rourke, who spoke with the media about the vision for this team and the foundation we’re building from the ground up. Joining him at the podium were two of our standout student-athletes, representing the grit and talent of our new squad.

The pads might be off, but the competition is ON. We are counting down the days until the flags fly this spring! 🚩💪
