Congratulations to the Cedar Ridge Wind Ensemble for earning the highest possible rating of superior from every judge this year in Grade V!

While the Symphonic Band went for comments only this year, they performed wonderfully last week and their progress this year has been immense - with multiple students starting a new instrument just a few months ago and now reading high-school level repertoire along with their peers!

A huge thank you to all CR students and families who volunteered to make hosting possible... now let's get ready for the Spring Concert 😎

It is the last day of our fundraiser - we are close but need one final push to reach our goal to offset costs of our 2027 New Orleans trip! Make a donation or check out our awesome custom tumblers!

Congratulations to senior saxophonist Terra for an amazing weekend and concert with the 2026 Central Region Jazz Clinic!

Terra got to work with the wonderful Dr. Wes Parker from NCSU in the B Band and learned a variety of challenging charts followed by an impressive concert in just 2 days with her peers.

Let's wish her luck as she prepares for All-State jazz auditions! 🎷

IMPORTANT PRISM CONCERT UPDATE

Our Food truck rodeo was CANCELED as of yesterday, in anticipation for the winter weather we were forecasted for this morning.

Our concert will still start the same time of 6:30 PM. Hope to see you tomorrow for some festive holiday tunes from OCS Bands!

Congratulations to our 5 Cedar Ridge Musicians who participated in the CDBA All-District Honor Band Clinic two weekends ago!

Jaiden, Leo, and Ryan participated in the 9-10 band under the direction of Mr. Jeremy Ray from Grimsley HS.

Lucy and Colin participated in the 11-12 band under the baton of Dr. Verena Mösenbichler-Bryant.
