Meet our new teachers and administrators joining us as the PAC ’26 cohort! 🎉 We are thrilled to welcome these incredible new educators and school leaders to our community this year. Get to know a few fun facts about our newest team members:

🌟 Sabahat Adil, Upper School History Teacher — Dedicated educator who once spent an entire year learning how to box—an experience she found challenging, empowering, and fun!

🌟 Angela Chen, AI Strategist in Residence — Stanford entrepreneurship course creator and teacher who studied abroad at the University of Havana, Cuba!

🌟 Aidan Lisker, Upper School Director of Student Wellness — St. Louis super-fan, avid traveler (most recently to Bolivia!), and proud owner of a 2.5-year-old German Shepherd.

🌟 Iris MacMillan, Assistant Technical Theater Manager — Passionate gamer who has been running and playing Dungeons & Dragons for over a decade!

🌟 Shawn McGuire, Associate Director of Alumni Relations — Former 10-year college athletics professional whose career took her across the country, living in Alabama, South Carolina, Ohio, and Fresno, California.

We just finished seven weeks of summer camps at Crystal! Throughout the season, our campers spent their time trying new sports, sharpening their skills, and working hard together across our volleyball, basketball, football, and soccer camps. From beginner drills to high-potential plays, our campers showed up ready every single day.

Thank you to all of our incredible coaches, staff, and families for making the 2026 Crystal Summer Camp one to remember.

Back in his old Crystal classroom, former faculty member Jim Garrison is creating a beautiful stained-glass piece for the newly renovated Mansion Library. The design incorporates sixth-grade student artwork from his time at Crystal, along with yellow glass salvaged from a Mansion skylight. The piece will honor longtime Crystal Librarian Deb Hunt and her many years of dedication to Crystal students and the Library. It will be installed this fall, following the Mansion’s reopening.

After studying at Northwestern, Mannes (winning the Steinway & Sons Award), and USC Thornton, Andrew moved to Iceland in 2020. He founded the International Westfjords Piano Festival, was honored by the First Lady of Iceland, and received a "White Rose" Medal of Honor for musical excellence from the former President of Finland.
