This spring, Nueva celebrated a decade of partnership with the Dōshisha schools: ten years of connection, curiosity, learning, and building bridges through an incredible exchange program 🇯🇵✨
As Upper School Japanese teacher Chris Scott said at the anniversary celebration dinner, “Over the past ten years, nearly two hundred American and Japanese high school students have come to Kyoto or traveled to the United States on this program [...]. Through the mirror of a foreign culture, many of them have been able to discover a new self or a new way of seeing the world.”
Here’s to the memories made and the ones still to come—take a look at some of the photos from the dinner and the most recent Upper School February trip to Japan!
Nueva community, we are filled with gratitude for the generous support of this year’s Nueva Fund! Watch this video to find out what happens when all the pieces fall into place and our community comes together to support the Nueva Fund ❤️🧩
