Kobayshi Hirokazu Sensei urodził się 14 lutego 1929 roku. Wywarł ogromny wpływ na rozwój Aikido w Europie oraz na innych kontynentach. Pamiętamy o nim i kontynuujemy jego przekaz w ramach Aikido Kobayashi Ryu - stylu uznanego dzisiaj także przez najstarszą japońską organizację wartości wojennych Dai Nippon Butoku Kai.

Kobayshi Hirokazu Sensei was born on 14th of February 1929. He exerted a huge influence on the development of Aikido in Europe and on other continents. We remember him and continue his message as part of Aikido Kobayashi Ryu – style recognized today by Dai Nippon Butoku Kai – the oldest Japanese martial arts organization.

With a heavy heart I must share some unimaginable news. Derrell Thomas Sensei had a massive heart attack two days ago. The damage was too severe and, as a result, he passed away this evening surrounded by his family. He was a very young 52 years old. There are just no words.

The world lost a beautiful soul, a great spirit, an amazing teacher, and one of my dearest friends.

Please keep his family in your prayers.
