🔥 THE PIT SAUNA PROTOCOL 🔥
TRAIN HARD. RECOVER HARDER.
That post-workout sweat isn’t just about feeling good. Regular sauna use has been linked to improvements in cardiovascular health, blood pressure, circulation, and relaxation.
🫀 HEART HEALTH
Sauna increases heart rate and blood flow — giving your cardiovascular system a heat-based stimulus.
📉 BLOOD PRESSURE
Regular sauna use has been associated with healthier blood-pressure regulation.
🧘 STRESS & RELAXATION
Heat exposure can help you unwind and may support better relaxation after a hard day or hard session.
💪 RECOVERY
Increased circulation + heat can help you feel looser and more relaxed after training.
🔥 HOW TO USE IT
START:
2–3x per week
WORK UP TO:
3–5x per week
TIME:
10–20 minutes per session
ADVANCED / WELL-TOLERATED:
Up to ~20–30 minutes
One large Finnish study found that people using a sauna 4–7 times per week had lower rates of fatal cardiovascular events than those using it once per week. That’s an association—not proof that sauna alone caused the benefit.
💧 HYDRATE
🚫 Don’t chase dehydration
👂 Listen to your body
❗ Get out if you feel dizzy, nauseous, or unwell
THE GOAL ISN’T TO SEE HOW LONG YOU CAN SUFFER.
The goal is to make recovery a part of your routine.
🔥 THE PIT
LIFT. SWEAT. RECOVER. REPEAT.
As always consult with your doctor first!
