We are so excited to celebrate the launch of Rearing2Read’s very first Pen Pal Program! 💌🐴📚

Rearing2Read’s first summer camp in Maine is in the books! 🐴📚🌲

We were so excited to partner with Impact Horse to bring mini pony, Toast, to Lincolnville for three days of reading, horses, learning, and lots of fun.

A huge thank you to the Perkins family for hosting us, Terry Mitman for sharing a special presentation with our campers, and Fiona Joyal for counseling and helping make the week such a success.

We’re so grateful for everyone who helped make our first Maine camp possible—and we hope it’s the first of many! 💛

Because of this incredible community, our Rearing2Read Ice Cream Fundraiser raised over $5,000, surpassing our fundraising goal! What a wonderful week at Rearing2Read’s Writing Camp at Lakeview Farm! ✏️📚💚

Our young writers spent the week creating stories, making crafts, riding horses, searching for clues on scavenger hunts, playing games, swimming, and even boating on the lake. It was a week full of creativity, confidence, and unforgettable memories.

A huge thank you to Holistic Kids Speech for providing writing instruction and introducing our campers and families to the incredible support speech therapy services can offer.

We are so grateful to Anne and Richard for generously hosting us at beautiful Lakeview Farm, and to our amazing volunteers—Sabine, Ravi, Bailey, Dahlia, and Cookie—for giving their time, energy, and encouragement throughout the week.

And a special thank you to Narda Croughwell for sharing Toby the Wonder Pony, who brought so many smiles to our campers.
