Anne Medenblik for School Board
Anne received 74% of the votes in the 6/22/2010 runoff election, and will serve a second four year term on the Orange County Board of Education.
It is official. I received a letter from the Orange County Board of Elections stating: "...having canvassed and certified the results of the June 22, 2010 Orange County Board of Education Run-off Election held in Orange County, North Carolina, we duly declare you were elected Member of the Orange County Board of Education."
The results are in: I received 73.97% of the vote!
Thank you for your overwhelming support in this runoff election. To all who worked on my campaign, please accept my gratitude and appreciation. I could not have managed these campaigns without the undying encouragement of family and friends.
Thank you for the opportunity to serve the students and citizens of Orange County Schools for four more years.

We are nearing the end of this campaign trail. There are two days left until the Runoff Election on Tuesday, June 22. All 16 polls in the Orange County School District will be open on Tuesday from 6:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. I would sincerely appreciate your vote!
It was wonderful to reconnect with so many friends and neighbors at Hog Day. Lots of good folks + great music + excellent barbecue resulted in an overwhelmingly successful event. Kudos to the Hillsborough/Orange County Chamber of Commerce!

Vote today (Fri) until 5 pm and tomorrow (Sat) June 19 from 8 - 1 pm at the Board of Elections. Going to Hog Day tomorrow? Just walk on over to the Board of Elections to vote. Polls close at 1 pm on Saturday.

This past weekend I attended the Cedar Ridge and Orange High school graduations, milestone events for students and their families. Congratulations graduates!
Last weekend I attended the third annual Sankofa Minority Student Achievement Recognition Ceremony honoring our minority high school students with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. It has been exciting to see this list of awesome students grow exponentially every year. Congratulations to our wonderful students!
