Tomorrow starts NH Gives!! It runs June 9th at 5pm and ends June 10th at 5pm. We invite you to join us in helping ensure that no child in our community goes hungry over the weekend.

End 68 Hours of Hunger addresses the critical gap between the free lunch a child receives on Friday and the free breakfast they receive on Monday—a period of approximately 68 hours when many children face food insecurity.

In New Hampshire alone, we provided over 132,000 hunger-free weekends and fed more than 3,000 children every weekend in the last school year and even more this current year.

Thanks to the dedication of volunteers and supporters like you, 95% of every dollar donated goes directly to feeding children.

The impact of your gift is immediate:

$15 provides a weekend food bag for one child

$60 provides a month of weekends for one child

$660 provides hunger-free weekends for a child for an entire school year

Teachers and school counselors tell us they see the difference every Monday. Children arrive more focused, more confident, and ready to learn because they know they had food over the weekend.

This NH Gives, our goal is to provide even more hunger-free weekends for children throughout New Hampshire and beyond. Every donation, no matter the size, helps put nourishing food directly into the hands of a child who needs it.

On June 9–10, visit NH Gives: End 68 Hours of Hunger. You can also help by sharing our mission with friends, family, and colleagues.

Here is our HDMS Journalism Site, this is done as an enrichment during our Prep period. Check it out!

HDMS Journalism's purpose is to provide students with the opportunities to to learn the fundamentals of journalism which include writing, researching, interviewing, reporting, and editing. Students will be gaining practical experience in all these skills by creating columns, reviews, and news report...

Today we're celebrating...MUSIC! Seven remarkable young musicians represented HDMS at the NHMEA Southwest District Festival on Saturday, May 9th. This is a festival that students must be nominated for, and then are selected by coordinators. Once selected, they spend several months learning challenging music independently. They then spent the entire day rehearsing with other dedicated musicians from Southwest New Hampshire, and they put on an challenging and excellent concert. We could not be more proud of them for their determination, their focus, and for how well they represented our school. Thank you to Mrs. Metric for helping these young musicians shine!

It's Monday and we are celebrating field trips! Students from the Bridges Program were able to go on a field trip to MacGlaflin Farm to get hands-on learning and experience the dairy process that they have been learning about with the Discover Dairy Adopt-A-Cow program. They even got to meet their adopted calf, Fern and were given opportunities to have a photo-op. We cannot thank Farmer Julie and the rest of MacGlaflin farm for how welcoming, accommodating and educational this entire experience has been. Farmer Julie provided students with milk and cheese for a snack and even surprised them with a wagon ride! Bridges is extremely grateful to have been given such a wonderful Host Farm through this program and the opportunity to see it all in person!
