During Professional Development, our HIS staff came together as a school family to create our Campus Respect Agreement! 🦅❤️
Our staff experienced the same process that will be modeled in each classroom as teachers work with their students to create their own Classroom Respect Agreements.🦅❤️
This process gives every voice a place at the table and helps build respect, ownership, consistency, and unity across our campus. When students and staff work together to define how we want to treat one another, we strengthen the positive culture we want throughout HIS.🦅❤️ 🩵 🪴 😎

🍽️ Our Plates Are Full, but So Are Our Hearts! ❤️HIS staff participated in a PD activity where we reflected on just how full our plates can be and talked about ways we can support, encourage, and lift one another up.
🍽️While our plates may be full, our hearts are even fuller with the many blessings we have at HIS—our students, our staff, our families, and a team that continues to show up for one another each and every day! ❤️

📢 HIS Arrival & Dismissal Reminders

We appreciate everyone’s help as we continue getting our arrival and dismissal routines running smoothly!🦅

Morning Drop-Off

💥HIS doors open at 7:15 a.m. Please do not leave students unattended in drop-off areas before the doors open.
💥For the next two weeks, arrival doors will close at 7:45 a.m.
💥After that, arrival doors will close at 7:40 a.m. for the remainder of the school year.
💥Students arriving after 7:40 a.m. should be dropped off at the front of the building and enter through the front office.
💥6th grade students and their siblings: East Circle Drive/back parking lot
💥4th and 5th grade students: West Gym Circle Drive

Afternoon Pick-Up

HIS dismisses at 3:45 p.m. Buses, car riders, and walkers are all dismissed at this time. Since HIS is the first campus in the district to dismiss, families picking up students at multiple campuses are asked to please pick up at HIS first.

💥6th grade students and their siblings: East Circle Drive/back of the building
💥4th and 5th grade students: West Gym Circle Drive/back of the building
🚫 Please do not use the front of the building for regular arrival or dismissal. The front area is reserved for buses only.

🚌 Bus Information
If you signed your child up to ride the bus after July 27, your child will not be eligible to ride the bus until Monday, August 17.

Please review the arrival and dismissal map included with this update carefully to make sure you are using the correct location.🦅
