Dear Hillsboro Alumni,

Homecoming is almost here, and we’d love for you to join us in celebrating! The Hillsboro R-III Public Schools Foundation is hosting a Homecoming Tailgate on Friday, October 3, immediately following the Homecoming Parade (around 3:00 p.m.) and continuing until about 7:00 p.m.

Here’s what you can expect:

Food & Fun: Hot dogs, hamburgers, games, and music.

Convenient Transportation: Please park at the high school, and we will provide bus transportation to and from the event. The bus will pick up at the front of the High School.

Great Company: A chance to reconnect with fellow retired staff, alumni, and friends of the district in a relaxed, festive atmosphere.

We would be honored to see you there as we celebrate Hawk pride together!

Karen Creech Huskey is currently a member of the Foundation Board and highly recommend the work being done to engage the community and alumni. By signing up with the Foundation you will learn more about upcoming events that will happen in October during Homecoming week.

Hello Fellow HHS Class of 1979 members! This message is from Karen (Creech) Huskey. The committee that organized the reunion scheduled for 26 Oct. 2024 has cleared the way for our class to provide money for a scholarship in the name of our class to be given to a 2025 HHS graduate next spring. If you would like to contribute to the scholarship fund you may do so at any point in time between now and March 2025 by scanning the QR code below.

The QR code takes you to the fundraising platform of Givebutter. The Hillsboro R-III Public Schools Foundation (here's the website) will collect the funds and get the total to the HHS guidance department for scholarship presentation. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) so your contribution is tax deductible.

Let's give it a go and challenge other classes to try and beat our contribution!
