Hear from two leading experts on creating welcoming classrooms with high expectations for students with disabilities. Join us for the virtual event "Unlocking Potential in Special Education: Transforming Outcomes for Students with Disabilities" on March 1st. https://factoregon.org/sped-conference

This session will feature insights from Dr. Julie Causton and Dr. Kristie Pretti-Frontczak (https://www.inclusiveschooling.com/), who will present five actionable strategies to strengthen a sense of belonging and dramatically improve student outcomes. Christy Reese, our executive director noted, “Years ago, one of Dr. Causton’s books (https://tinyurl.com/yckx35pc) changed how my son was supported in school—and ultimately changed his future.” Similarly, a seasoned educator mentioned that the training provided, "Loads of practical ideas and tips to use "tomorrow" in class!"

You will also hear from:

Dr. Samuel Sennott (https://www.pdx.edu/education/profile/samuel-sennott), an associate professor of special education, on enhancing communication access for students with disabilities.
