We have had a very exciting 24 hours! We listened to state officer speeches, including Siri's! They were all fantastic, and at the letter drop this morning we found out that Siri was voted in as a STATE OFFICER (VP of Finance) for 2026-2027!!! 🥳🥳🥳

Ryan and Alana have both been busy voting on behalf of our chapter.
Aidan, Emma, Layne, and Owen were busy being timers for STAR events.
Emily was a student evaluator for STAR events.
When they weren't busy with convention duties, they all attended their choice of breakout 'Red Talk' sessions.

At the opening session last night, we also got to listen to the talented Lion Heart Experience speakers/musicians/artists too, which was so cool!

Tomorrow will be another exciting day at the awards ceremony, officer induction, and closing ceremony! 🤩

These three awesome Burros worked their butts off on this Level 3 Food Innovations STAR event and placed Bronze in Kindred today for District 6 STAR event competitions! Although they won't be advancing to state competition, I am still so incredibly proud of them! Josephine and Emily were competing with Siri against juniors and seniors today!

The FACS classroom is auctioning off these beautiful gingerbread houses that the FACS 2 students worked so hard on in hopes of raising money for the food pantry! We would LOVE for you to bid on these gingerbread houses to support our cause!
