We were honored to welcome Myles Gant, mental health speaker, CSH Academy (Character, Strength & Heart) founder, Vibe 18 leader, basketball league organizer, and gospel recording artist, to Hillsboro High School! Myles spoke with our freshmen about the power of creative expression as a healthy way to channel thoughts and emotions.

Members of nonprofit mental health program, Vive 18 also spent time with several classes discussing what mental health truly means, the silent struggles we all carry, and healthy ways to process and navigate difficult life experiences.

We are grateful for the honest conversations, encouragement, and reminder that we don't have to carry life's challenges alone. 💙

🩺🧤 **Future CNAs in Action!** 🧤🩺

Last week, our CNA students dove into the important topic of infection control! They’re getting hands-on practice with personal protective equipment (PPE) and are learning how proper procedures help protect both healthcare workers and patients by preventing the spread of disease. 🏥✨

We love seeing our students gain the real-world skills and confidence they’ll need to make a difference in the healthcare field! 💙👏

HHS Culinary students were honored to be able to support the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum in their 50th year anniversary celebration tomorrow! Thank you so much for giving our students the opportunity to practice their hard earned skills in such an authentic way! Thank you for all you do for our community and for keeping the history of the Texas Rangers alive! Go Rangers! 🩶

We have custom sugar cookies for our dessert at the 50th Anniversary dinner tomorrow. The culinary students at Hillsboro High School created our treats. I can't wait to try one.

The spirit was **FILLING THE HALLWAYS** today at HHS! 💙🤍 Our Eagles showed up in their best Western wear and brought the energy as we kicked off our first spirit dress-up theme of the season! 🦅🔥

From boots and hats to all the Western flair, Eagle Nation knows how to show their spirit!

This year, on October 17th, 2026, at 8 am at the Hillsboro Country Club, we will host the "PAR FOR PROM" Golf Tournament. All of the proceeds will go to the Hillsboro High School Prom, which helps pay for decorations, refreshments, Raffle Items, and any other materials that will help the prom be a smash hit. There are a lot of moving parts to this, so this message will be lengthy.

VOLUNTEERS:
The First order of business is we will need several Junior Parent Volunteers for this event. Will need a lot of help leading up to the event as well as help on the actual day of the event. Please fill out the Google Form below if you are willing to help. As we get volunteers, I will reach out to each one of you and create a communication Thread with the contact information you provided. • Hole 4 - Closest to the Pin Hole ($100)
• Hole 6 - Longest Drive ($100)

50/50 Raffle Tickets ( $10/ea)
Raffle Prize Tickets ($10/ea or 6 for $50)
$20 Player purchase gets you the following:
• ONE extra shot at the closest to the pin each time through on the par 3's, plus 2 additional raffle ticket.

If EVERY player on your team buys the bonus:
• Team will receive an automatic birdie on 4-7-13-16. So, fire away from the tee for the $100 closest to the pin prize, and that is ever so elusive hole-in-one. If
you don't hole it from the tee, just pick 'em up, write down a 2 and go on to the next hole, no need to waste time, or hair loss, grinding over the putt!
