Let's try this again...

’Twas the night before school, and all through the town,
Little Indians were settling down.
Backpacks were packed and outfits laid out,
With butterflies fluttering and smiles all about.

The pencils were sharpened, the crayons in place,
A brand-new school year was ready to race.
The books were all waiting, the classrooms were too,
For bright little minds with so much to do.

Some children felt excited, some nervous inside,
But tomorrow they’d walk through those doors with pride.
New friends to meet and new things to explore,
New memories waiting from classroom to floor.

So rest up tonight, little Indians, dream big-
Tomorrow begins with a brand-new gig!
We’ll learn, we’ll laugh, and we’ll grow as we go,
And make this a year that we’ll proudly show.

So goodnight, little Indians, sleep tight and dream-
Tomorrow we’re ready to shine and to gleam!
Red and white hearts will be proudly displayed-

Huge shoutout to our custodial, maintenance, and administration crew. These amazing folks have been working hard after the storms. It takes a village and our village never fails to show up when needed! Go Indians! 🤗

Due to power outages and storm damage, Hillsboro City Schools will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, August 12. Enjoy another day of summer kiddos!

Hillsboro City Schools is once again offering FREE breakfast and lunch to all students this school year through the CEP Program. We will not be requiring meal applications. If your student would like to purchase extra food or a la carte items they will need to have money on their cafeteria account. You can access your student(s) cafeteria account by going to http://linqconnect.com.
