Big congratulations to our two competitors for nationals: Rylee and Kyleigh! 🎊🎉 Rylee competed in Culinary Arts 🥗🔪 and Kyleigh competed in Baking and Pastry Arts🥖🍰! We won’t know what they placed until Friday, but no matter what we are so proud of them 🥳🎊!

Since today is the last day for some of our high school seniors who have other activities, we did our end of the year tie-dyeing today! We’ve had an amazing year this year!

SkillsUSA state competition is a wrap. Had some great food at Das Stein Haus and watched my students do a killer job competing.

Hannah won first place in baking and pastry and will go on to compete at the national competition in June.

We will find out the placement of Nerik, Chloe, Haley, and Coletin soon. They all did an amazing job!

Show Me ATS January 30th, 2024

The culinary arts department was able to make food and show off some demos for the new potential ATS students here at Jefferson College.

Kyla Hatfield, Bekah Melton, Haley Morgan, Chloe Ziegler, and Nerik Stricklin had the opportunity to be student ambassadors for Jefferson college. They helped show everyone around the school and gave information about each program offered here at JeffCo.

Jefferson College had the pleasure of hosting the 2024 SkillsUSA District competition. The Culinary Arts department received 2 gold medals, 1 silver medal, and 1 bronze medal.

Gold- Serenity Evans(Commercial Baking) and Nerik Stricklin(Culinary Arts)
Silver- Chloe Ziegler(Culinary Arts)
Bronze- Claire Balding(Culinary Arts)

We will be on the road for the 2024 SkillsUSA State competition in Linn and Columbia MO. We will have 2 Culinary arts competitors, 2 Commercial baking competitors, and 2 Restaurant service competitors!!
