Sensory play is one of the best things you can offer a preschooler - and you don't need fancy supplies! Fill a bin with kinetic sand and small scoops. Try dried beans with measuring cups. ☀️ Summer Chalk Fun Ideas for Families! ☀️

Grab a box of chalk and head outside! A simple box of sidewalk chalk can provide hours of learning and fun! Try these easy activities at home:

• 🌈 Draw a giant rainbow and name all the colors.
• 🔤 Create a letter hunt by writing letters around the driveway and finding them.
• 🐸 Draw animals and move like each one—hop like a frog, waddle like a duck, or stomp like an elephant.
• 🔢 Practice counting by hopping from number to number.
• 🎨 Turn your sidewalk into an art gallery with a giant chalk masterpiece.
• 😊 Draw self-portraits and talk about what makes each person unique.
• ⭐ Draw shapes and play a jumping game by calling out different shapes.

Through chalk play, children build creativity, fine motor skills, early literacy and math skills, and gross motor development—all while having fun outdoors!

What an extra special day as we celebrated our students completing their first year of preschool—and our school completing its very first year! What a blessing it has been to share a year filled with learning, laughter, friendships, and becoming part of our preschool family.

🪱 Little Worms, Big Learning! 🪱

Our preschoolers explored the wonderful world of worms and discovered how these tiny creatures help our environment by improving the soil and supporting healthy plant growth. Through hands-on exploration, children used their senses—seeing, touching, and even smelling the earth around the worms—to learn about God's amazing creation.

Young children learn best by doing. Sensory experiences help them build curiosity, make observations, ask questions, and develop a deeper understanding of the world around them. Learning through play allows children to connect with nature in meaningful and memorable ways.
