No. This is a completely standalone vote. Whether other local county referendums, state constitutional amendments, or general property tax measures pass or fail on election day has zero impact on this school millage. Your vote on this initiative is strictly an independent decision about whether to continue existing local funding for Nassau County District Schools' safety, competitive employee compensation, the arts, and athletics. It is completely separate from any other item on your ballot.

YES. Voter-approved operating millages are used by school districts throughout Florida. Nearby St. Johns, Duval, and Clay Counties all have additional operating millages to supplement state funding to support their schools.

If you signed up to check your student out at the 1:00pm time slot, please feel free to call the front office to change to the 11:30 or 12:20 timeslot and/or change pickup people. Due to the quick turnaround time of the change, please know that we will work together to be cooperative with families for dismissal changes. We just ask that everyone be patient and kind as we work together.

Please be patient as you call the school. We are fielding hundreds of calls and doing our best to answer quickly.

You can respond to Mrs. Loudermilk's ParentSquare and let her know your changes. Please do not message us on Facebook.

Nassau County students deserve a world-class education, and that starts with having exceptional teachers in every classroom and dedicated staff supporting them every day. To maintain high academic standards, the School District must remain competitive with surrounding school districts, many of which have access to additional locally approved funding. Referendum dollars provide critical local funding to help Nassau County attract and retain high-quality employees across the District, provide competitive compensation, and ensure our schools have the teachers and staff needed to support student success.
