Our last PTO meeting for this school year is going to be Tuesday, May 12th at 7pm in the IDC. All are welcome. This is a reminder that our PTO meeting is tonight at 7:00 PM in the IDC, and we are asking for strong attendance as we prepare for next school year.

We are at a critical point for our PTO.

Our current President will not be returning next year, and several key leadership positions are currently open. We are hoping to vote and fill as many of these roles as possible during tonight’s meeting so that we can continue providing the programs and events our students and staff rely on.

To be clear, the PTO directly funds and organizes many of the experiences that make our school community special, including field trips, Field Day, the Walk-a-Thon, author visits, teacher appreciation events, school celebrations, and more. These are not “extras”—they are only possible because of parent volunteers.

Without volunteers stepping into leadership roles, many of these programs are at risk of being significantly reduced or not happening at all next year.

We have a full range of positions available to match different interests and levels of time commitment.

The PTO still have positions available for next year. Open positions are: Treasurer, Volunteer Coordinator, Fundraising Coordinator, Social Chair/Staff Liaison, and ISPTO Rep. If you are interested in any of these positions or would like more information please email me at [email protected]
