Our first week at LLPA is Dr. Seuss week. Monday come in your pajamas.

For our last day tomorrow here at Ecole, our lunch will be cheese pizza, corn , fruit, and milk.

Our Preschool I and Preschool II had a filedtrip to visit their new classrooms today at LLPA.

Don't shy away from zesty words or colorful descriptions. They add interest and opportunity. Support your child's budding vocabulary by exploring rich words, new games, and dynamic stories.

✨Did you know there are so many benefits when providing specific praises vs only saying “good job”?

I’m guilty of saying “good job” as well, so we’re not here to make any parent, therapist, teacher, etc. feel bad for saying that.

We’re also not saying you should never say those words!

However, we wanted to share that there are a variety of ways you can praise your child (or student) and why it’s so important to do so!

✨It’s important to provide specific feedback to
children because it’s:

▪️Educational
▪️Gives a child insight on what they did right or wrong

✨Providing feedback sooner than later (if possible) also makes a difference as studies have shown that:

▪️This significantly increases the child’s performance
▪️Child is able to comprehend information better

This is also another way to teach speech & language skills since you’re using adjectives, nouns, and verbs when providing these specific phrases!

We included a few scenarios to show you some examples of phrases you can say to your child rather than only saying “good job”.
